MEMBERSHIP DETAILS
Individual Life Membership
The Individual life membership of IGS Trichy Chapter is open to individuals engaged in activities consistent with the aim of the Centre.The minimum qualifications for individual membership shall be one of the following:
- Degree in Engineering or Equivalent.
- Diploma in Engineering with at least three years of certified experience in any of the fields of Geotechnical Engineering.
- A Master's degree in Science or equivalent with two years of experience in any of the fields related to Geotechnical Engineering.
Student membership of IGS Trichy Chapter is open to all undergraduate and graduate students with Civil Engineering/Geotechnical Engineering as their major subjects
Institutional MembershipThe Institutional membership is open to all Institutions connected with teaching, research and development work, design, consultancy and/or construction work in the fields consistent with the Aim of the Society.
Application for Membership
Application for Membership of IGS Trichy Chapter shall be submitted to the Secretary of IGS Trichy Chapter. These applications are normally approved by the Secretary. In the event of any discrepancy, it may be placed in the Executive Committee.

RIGHTS & PRIVILEGES OF MEMBERSHIP
All members are entitled to participate in the meeting / symposia / conferences / seminars of IGS Trichy Chapter and receive publications of the chapter as decided by the Executive Committee from time to time. The members can attend the seminars, short term courses and conferences organized by IGS Trichy Chapter at subsidized rates.
